Cybersecurity expert Alfons Tanujaya believes the special team to eradicate online gambling prepared by the Ministry of Communication and Digital in conjunction with the developers of the Meta digital platform and other digital platforms has a key role in bridging inter-agency coordination.
According to Alfons, who is also the Deputy Chairperson 2 of the Cyber Security Aptiknas, eradicating judol requires many parties to be involved and therefore a clear coordination forum is needed so that it can be right on target. With the formation of this special team, the Ministry of Communication and Digital Technology as the initiator plays the role of coordinator.
"The government needs to coordinate between agencies (in addition to digital platforms), particularly the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, the Financial Services Authority , the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center , and the police, to identify and address this online gambling problem ," Alfons said when contacted.
