Liverpool player Dominik Szoboszlai admitted he can't wait for the opportunity to play under the Reds' new coach Andoni Iraola, who replaces Arne Slot as head coach.
"With the intensity of the game he wants to implement and the knowledge he possesses, I think he's an outstanding coach. I'm really looking forward to playing under him," Szoboszlai said, as quoted on Liverpool's official website.
Szoboszlai has signed a long-term contract extension with Liverpool, which Fabrizio Romano said runs for the next five years, or until 2031.
According to Szoboszlai, Iraola's quality was already evident when he coached Bournemouth in recent years, who always put up tough competition with Liverpool.
Last season, Liverpool struggled to beat Bournemouth at Anfield before securing a last-gasp 4-2 victory.
