The Indonesian Motor Association (IMI) is making the 2025 IMI Awards a momentum for consolidating the national automotive ecosystem in celebration of the organization's 120th anniversary at The Tribrata.
IMI Chairman Moreno Soeprapto said the award was not only a form of appreciation for automotive professionals, but also to reaffirm IMI's role in the long journey of Indonesian automotive sports and industry.
"For 120 years, IMI has been part of the long journey of the Indonesian automotive industry. The 2025 IMI Awards is not just an awards ceremony, but also a tribute to all automotive professionals," Moreno said in an official statement.
The 2025 IMI Awards were held in two sessions, namely the Awarding Session and the Gala Night, with approximately 1,000 invited guests from government, the automotive industry, athletes, communities, sponsors, and national media.
In the afternoon session, IMI presented awards in more than 20 categories covering various national automotive sports, ranging from karting, Mini GP, slalom, drifting, aquabike, rally, sprint rally, time rally, city rally, ITCR, MotoPrix, Mandalika Racing Series, speed offroad, adventure offroad, drag race, motocross, to grasstrack.
Awards were also given to national promoters, championship organizers, high-achieving automotive individuals, as well as a number of other special appreciation categories.
