The Corruption Eradication Commission has proposed to the government to finance campaign materials for general election participants to prevent corruption.
According to Budi, the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) believes this can prevent corruption because the proposal can help reduce the financial burden that election candidates have to bear.
"In addition to creating fairer competition, this policy is also expected to reduce election participants' dependence on funding sources that risk creating conflicts of interest," he said.
