The Ministry of Communication and Digital has reported around 38,000 accounts suspected of being linked to online gambling activities to the Financial Services Authority .
Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid explained that of the number of accounts reported, as many as 32,500 accounts have been closed, so the success rate of blocking fake accounts has reached 88.5 percent.
"We reported 38,000 accounts to the Financial Services Authority . Of these, we reported 38,000, and the OJK closed them. Closing this many accounts is certainly not easy. I'm sure our colleagues in the banking sector have also helped, but we want more than this number," Meutya said.
