The Head of the Budgetary Body of the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia, Ajbar, invited the Toraja Mamasa Church to continue strengthening national unity by strengthening religious and national values.
Ajbar conveyed this invitation while attending the 21st GTM General Synod Assembly Session at the Balla Sattoko Classis, Mamasa Regency.
According to him, religious values and national values are two pillars that strengthen each other in building a harmonious, peaceful, and civilized Indonesia.
He invited all participants of the 21st General Synod Assembly of the GTM to become unifying agents in society by prioritizing dialogue, tolerance, and a spirit of togetherness in facing various national challenges.
During the visit, Ajbar also held a National Seminar for the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly as part of an effort to strengthen public understanding of national values.
He emphasized the importance of implementing the Four Pillars of the MPR RI, namely Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika in community life.
According to Ajbar, the dialogue that developed in the forum demonstrated a shared commitment to actualize the values of the Four Pillars of the MPR RI, both within the church environment and within society.
