The General Chair of the NasDem Youth Guard, Prananda Surya Paloh, is committed to transforming the organization into an inclusive, large home and a cross-professional creative space for Indonesia's young generation.
According to him, this spirit is part of the direction of the Second GPND Congress which will be held on July 21–22, 2026. He believes that the contribution of young people to the nation does not always have to be trapped in practical politics, but can be through real action for society.
"The NasDem Youth Guard must be a place for young people to gather according to their professions and strengths to contribute to the nation," said Prananda at the NasDem Tower.
He said that the 2nd GPND Congress would carry the theme "Independent Youth, Sovereign Nation".
The theme, he said, was chosen based on the aspirations of various regional organization administrators who demonstrated the same spirit, namely the desire of the younger generation to continue contributing to the nation in a more adaptive, creative, and relevant way to the challenges of the times.
He cited examples of possible contributions: entrepreneurs can strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem, healthcare workers can contribute through health services and education, and other professions can introduce innovations according to their competencies.
Meanwhile, he believes that the world of politics is a space for continued service that will grow naturally when national awareness and commitment have been formed.
"In its fifteenth year, I see the NasDem Youth Guard continuing to demonstrate organizational maturity with positive progress. Going forward, we will increasingly prioritize a more open and engaging approach with young people," he said.
