Argentine President Javier Millie announced that he will not travel to the US state of New Jersey to attend the highly anticipated World Cup final between Argentina and Spain, scheduled for next Sunday.

During a radio interview he gave yesterday, Thursday, to the station "El Observador", Milli explained that he prefers to follow the match from his presidential residence in "Olivos", adhering to his unwavering habits when watching his national team's matches.

The 55-year-old president, known for his strong adherence to his rituals which he considers the gateway to victory, answered decisively when asked about the possibility of traveling to the United States, saying that he would not leave "under any circumstances" and would continue to follow the games from the same place he has been accustomed to since the beginning.

When the interviewer inquired whether this stemmed from superstition, Milly admitted it, explaining that he makes a point of watching the "Tango" national team's matches in the cinema hall inside the presidential palace, accompanied by his sister Karina, who holds the position of Secretary-General of the Presidency.

The president revealed another ritual he strictly adheres to, which involves wearing a heavy winter jacket bearing the logo of the national oil company "YPF", the same jacket he wore during the victory over Switzerland in the quarter-finals.

Miley recounted that he wore that jacket during the Switzerland match because of the cold weather, but he took it off momentarily and a goal was scored against his team, so he immediately put it back on his chest and has not taken it off since that moment.
