Trabzonspor president Ertugrul Dogan commented on the rumors circulating in recent hours regarding an agreement with the national team captain, in order to put a definitive end to the controversy.
Turkish journalist Onur Taşçıoğlu wrote on his account on the "x" platform: "I met with the president of Trabzonspor, Ertuğrul Doğan, and he confirmed to me that the rumors circulating about Mohamed Salah's transfer are not true."
The Turkish website SportsDigital had previously indicated that Trabzonspor's management had reached an agreement with Mohamed Salah to join the team during the current summer transfer window.
It is worth mentioning that the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah officially left Liverpool after the end of the 2025-2026 season without revealing his next destination.
