Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said there is a possibility of reducing the budget requirements for the Free Nutritious Meals program following management improvements at the National Nutrition Agency and the validation process for data on program recipients.
"There's a possibility that after improvements are made within the management or leadership of the National Nutrition Agency and after data validation, there's a possibility that the MBG budget requirement will decrease," Prasetyo said at the Presidential Palace Complex.
Prasetyo said this possibility had also been previously conveyed by Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa.
According to him, the results of the improved management and data validation will later determine the program's budget requirements more accurately, so there is a possibility that the MBG budget requirements will be lower than previously calculated.
