The Republic of Indonesia Television South Sumatra Public Broadcasting Institution involved 18 micro, small, and medium enterprises in the 2026 World Cup Watch Together event.
"We are airing the match between France and England for third place in the 2026 World Cup. We are involving 18 MSMEs, an increase of 11 from the previous year," said TVRI South Sumatra Head Eflianty Analisa in Palembang on Sunday.
He said that the joint viewing held at the TVRI South Sumatra yard on Jalan Pom IX, Palembang Campus, involved dozens of MSMEs who participated in pampering the audience with a variety of snacks.
"As usual, these MSMEs will not be charged any fees. They are free to sell until the 2026 World Cup final between Argentina and Spain on Monday (July 20)," he said.
According to him, the presence of these MSMEs is to enliven the joint viewing while simultaneously driving the people's economy and strengthening community togetherness.
This activity is not only a place to watch world football matches together, but is also designed as a space for community economic empowerment through the involvement of MSMEs.
In the joint screening, his party also prepared three screens consisting of a 2.5 x 4 meter Tron LID video, a projector screen and a TV screen which were placed in several corners of the TVRI South Sumatra garden yard.
In fact, during the event, they prepared door prizes in the form of basic necessities through a quiz for lucky spectators.
