The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced, after midnight on Sunday/Monday, the martyrdom of citizens Awda Abdul Rahim Awda Farakhna (53 years old) and Ahmed Adel Rashid Abu Makhwa (26 years old), by Israeli occupation bullets in the town of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah.
Three citizens were seriously injured in an attack by settlers on the town, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its crews initially dealt with a serious abdominal injury resulting from an attack carried out by settlers, and the injured person was transferred to the hospital by the Silwad ambulance crew to receive treatment.
Later, the association announced that its teams dealt with two other injuries, one of which was a 55-year-old citizen, for whom they performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation while he was being transported to the hospital, due to the seriousness of his condition.
Local sources also reported that the occupation forces opened fire on an ambulance that was transporting one of the wounded to the hospital.
Towns and villages in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate are witnessing an escalation in settler attacks against citizens and their property, including physical assault, live fire, arson, and attacks on agricultural lands, all under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, as part of the escalating settler attacks in various governorates of the occupied West Bank.
