Undefeated boxer Jacob Bank hopes to get the chance to win the World Boxing Organization super middleweight world championship belt held by Hamzah Sheeraz.
"I remained patient because I knew my chance would come.
The Danish boxer is undefeated in his 19 professional fights with 11 wins coming via knockout .
Bank's opportunity to fight champion Hamzah, who was a supporter of Anthony Joshua's fight against Kristian Prenga in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, has been postponed. Bank will instead face undefeated Pawel August.
Bank said his full focus is now on winning the fight against August convincingly. If all goes according to plan, he believes a fight with Hamzah is just a matter of time.
He welcomes the opportunity to face August who is looking to create an upset after his big win over Simon Zachenhuber in April 2026.
