FIFA has assigned the task of officiating the World Cup final match between Argentina and Spain to Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic.
Argentina and Spain will meet next Sunday, July 19, in the World Cup final at MetLife Stadium.
The website "Archivo Var" criticized the decision to assign the match between Argentina and Spain to Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic.
The website stated on its official page on the "X" website: "FIFA provokes the whole world and appoints Slavko Vincic as the referee for the World Cup final between Argentina and Spain."
He added: "The Slovenian referee had a disastrous season in Europe, losing control of matches as the competition intensified."
Argentina had advanced to the World Cup final after winning against England 2-1, while Spain had defeated France 2-0.
