VR46 Racing Team extends contract with Ducati

The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team will continue to use Ducati Corse motorcycles for MotoGP next season after the Tavullia-based team extended its contract for the next three seasons.

"We are very proud to announce the extension of our agreement with Ducati Corse as the Ducati Factory Supported Team in MotoGP for the next three seasons," said Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team Director Alessio Salucci in an official MotoGP statement.

"Taking this role has been a great honor from the outset and marks a significant milestone for our entire group. However, this confirmation of our position is even more meaningful, as it reflects the consistency and exceptional work of every member of the team," he added.

This contract extension marks the long-term collaboration of the team owned by legendary racer Valentino Rossi.

Previously, the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team had collaborated with Ducati since the 2025 season.

From this collaboration, the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team recorded at least four wins, 16 podiums, and 1,792 points.

Later in the contract, the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team will get two Desmosedici GP motorcycles with one factory specification motorcycle that will receive technical updates every season while the other motorcycle will be with standard non-factory specifications.

"Since the beginning of our collaboration, the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team has demonstrated incredible consistency, expertise, and passion. Over the years, we have achieved important milestones together. We are delighted to continue this journey until at least 2029, further strengthening a partnership that has given us great satisfaction," said Ducati General Manager Luigi Dall'Igna.
