West Java wins overall championship in 2026 National Squash Championship

 





  Host West Java emerged as the overall champion of the 2026 National Squash Championship after winning 11 gold medals, five silver medals, and 15 bronze medals in the event held at the Wibawa Mukti Sports Hall, Bekasi Regency, West Java, from July 7-11, 2026.

"Jakarta is in second place, followed by East Kalimantan in third," said Endang Suranata, the Chief Executive of the 2026 National Squash Championship, in Cikarang on Sunday.

Jakarta won two gold medals, seven silver medals, and 12 bronze medals, while East Kalimantan won one gold medal, one silver medal, and three bronze medals.

At least 162 athletes took part in the championship, which competed in various individual events for men and women in various age groups ranging.

Endang expressed her gratitude to all relevant stakeholders, including the Indonesian Squash Association  the Indonesian National Sports Committee , the Ministry of Youth and Sports , the Indonesian Olympic Committee , the Bekasi Regency Government, and all partners and sponsors for their support in making this event a success.

"The success of yesterday's event was inseparable from the significant contribution of the Bekasi Regency Government, which has provided international-standard facilities, such as the Wibawa Mukti Squash Sports Hall, as the venue for the National Championship, even for the last two consecutive years," he said.
