Asus has announced its latest monitors, designed to deliver outstanding performance for designers and video game enthusiasts.

The Ace and XG259QNSR-W Ace monitors come with almost the same specifications, with the difference being the model bearing the letter "W" and a white casing.

The monitors have 24.5-inch Fast IPS panels with a resolution of (1920/1080) pixels and a refresh rate of up to 420Hz, making them a suitable option for fans of modern video games. The monitors have a brightness of up to 400 nits and a response time of 1 millisecond, and they also provide coverage of 90% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 115% of the sRGB color gamut.

A 420Hz refresh rate is available via DisplayPort 1.4. The two HDMI 2.1 TMDS ports support refresh rates up to 240Hz at 1080p resolution. The device also includes two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The displays support ELMB Sync technology, enabling synchronized backlight flickering and variable refresh rate, and Variable Overdrive 2.0 adjusts overdrive settings based on refresh rate changes. Features such as Dynamic Crosshair (digital aiming pointer), Dynamic Shadow Boost (for increased detail in dark scenes), and AI Visual (for automatically analyzing screen content and selecting optimal picture settings) are available via DisplayWidget Center.

These monitors are also equipped with convenient stands that can be adjusted in height, rotation and tilt angles, and a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount is available for mounting external mounts.
