Huawei asserts that this series aims to make display technologies that were once exclusive to the premium flagship TV category available at much lower prices, while improving color performance, high refresh rates, and features integrated with the HarmonyOS system.
The series replaces the traditional backlighting method based on single-color LEDs with independently controllable red, green, and blue LEDs, providing 105% coverage of the BT.2020 color space, 94-bit color accuracy, and up to 66% more color saturation than traditional MiniLED TVs. The focusing lens system in these devices also contributes to reducing backlight leakage, which improves contrast and the display of bright objects.
All models are powered by a quad-core processor, two Cortex-A73 cores and two Cortex-A53 cores, with 3GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, run HarmonyOS 4.3, and support 4K Super Casting technology, Harmony AI features, and integration with other devices within the Harmony ecosystem, including smart door locks.
Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, a USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port, an Ethernet port, an AV input, a digital RF input, an S/PDIF port, and HDMI CEC support. The 75-inch model also features an enhanced 100-watt speaker system.
These devices were launched in China at prices of: 3499 yuan (about $520) for the 55-inch model, 4699 yuan (about $700) for the 65-inch version, and 5799 yuan (about $860) for the 75-inch version.
