Young striker Pavel Pulykh made history at Spartak Moscow after becoming the youngest player to score a goal for the first team.

The goal came during Spartak's resounding 5-1 victory over Orenburg in the first round of the group stage of the Russian Cup.

Pulik scored his goal at the age of 16 years, 8 months and 3 days, breaking the previous record held by Georgian Jano Ananidze, who scored his first goal for Spartak at the age of 16 years, months and 5 days.

With this victory, Spartak raised its tally to 3 points to top Group A, tied with Rodina, while Orenburg and Rubin Kazan remained without points.
