Brazilian mixed martial arts fighter Alan Nascimento died at the age of 34 after being found dead in his sleep, the UFC announced.
The organization explained that Nascimento was found in the morning without any signs of life, noting that initial estimates indicate that he suffered a sudden heart attack while in his sleep.
The medical teams that arrived at the scene tried to save the Brazilian fighter, but their attempts were unsuccessful, and his death was announced.
Nascimento had a distinguished career in mixed martial arts, competing in the bantamweight division, and achieving 22 wins against 7 losses in his professional career.
In the UFC, he had six fights, during which he achieved 4 victories and 2 losses, leaving behind a remarkable sporting record before his sudden departure.
