Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Angga Raka Prabowo encouraged the use of digital technology developments to share knowledge, as done by Melan Achmad, also known as Mbah Guru Matematika.
Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Technology Angga Raka Prabowo presented the Golden Human Resources Knight award to Melan Achmad, an educator who continues to dedicate himself to sharing his knowledge of teaching mathematics for free through digital platforms and reaching the community through learning content, even though he has reached the age of 79.
"Mr. Melan exemplifies that age is not a barrier to continuing to provide benefits. Digital technology can actually be a platform for sharing knowledge with the wider community," said Angga in an official statement received.
When presenting the award at the peak of Garuda TV's 3rd anniversary celebration entitled Mahayuga, Angga Raka Prabowo assessed that contributions such as those made by Melan Achmad had an important meaning when digital technology was increasingly becoming a part of people's lives.
