Manchester City star Erling Haaland surprised his team's fans before the start of City's Premier League campaign.
Haaland posted a video on the “X” platform on Sunday morning, in which he appeared sitting at home with his long hair flowing over his shoulders, before approaching the camera and blocking the lens with his hand.
When the picture was restored, Haaland appeared in the same place and clothes, but with very short hair.
The Manchester City striker captioned the video, "New season, new haircut," before posting, about 20 minutes later, a series of selfies that appeared to have been taken during the haircut, with less hair visible in each image, and writing: "Short hair doesn't care."
Haaland is 26 years old and has been known in recent years for his long blond hair, but the Norwegian star decided to abandon his usual look before the start of the season.
Manchester City are preparing to kick off their 2026-2027 Premier League season against Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium in their first season after the departure of Spanish coach Pep Guardiola.
