iQOO will bring improvements to the display sector for its next-generation flagship phone , the iQOO 16.
According to a report by Gizmochina on Thursday (August 20th) local time, tech leaker Digital Chat Station revealed that the iQOO 16 is being tested with a 6.85-inch display with 2K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate . The panel is reportedly supplied by Samsung Display.
Meanwhile, iQOO Flagship Series Product Manager Wang Ken hinted that the iQOO 16 will bring better screen technology than the previous generation.
Wang explained that screen brightness level is an important factor in everyday cellphone use, especially when the device is used in different lighting conditions.
According to him, maintaining a balance between screen brightness, power consumption, and device durability has been a challenge for cellphone manufacturers.
