Manchester City beat Atletico Madrid 3-1 on Sunday in a friendly match as both teams prepare for the start of the new season.

Jorge Dominguez scored Atletico Madrid's opening goal in the 43rd minute, a lead with which the Spanish team ended the first half.

In the second half, Egyptian Omar Marmoush shone, scoring two goals in the 57th and 59th minutes to give City the lead, both of which were assisted by Ghanaian Antoine Simeone.

In the final minute of the match, Algerian Rayan Ait-Nouri added a third goal for Manchester City, securing a friendly victory for the English team.

This is Manchester City's last friendly match before the start of the new season, when they play against Premier League champions Arsenal in the Community Shield on Sunday.
