The public relations office of Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei confirmed that the only official entity for publishing messages, news, and materials related to him is the platforms affiliated with his office and the office for preserving and publishing his works.
A statement issued by the public relations office of Khamenei, on the occasion of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein, said that "some statements attributed to the leader of the Islamic Revolution have been circulating in recent days on social media, and have contributed to stirring up confusion and division within society."
The statement emphasized that the Supreme Leader stressed in his messages, including his latest message, the need to preserve national unity, protect the status of loyal officials, and serve the Islamic system, especially the government, considering that any material that contradicts these directives and leads to division or includes false accusations against officials serves the goals of Iran’s enemies.
The statement also categorically denied the validity of what was circulated on social media regarding claims about the reaction of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to the Iranian President’s letter, stressing that these claims are baseless and contrary to reality in the first place.
Earlier today, the ISNA news agency revealed that “a claim attributed to Mohammad Baqer Kharrazi (an Iranian cleric) has recently been circulating on social media, which, in addition to attributing a statement to the leader of the Islamic Revolution, includes allegations that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has submitted his resignation 28 times.”
She noted that this "comes at a time when the President of the Republic has previously denied such an allegation repeatedly."
The Iranian news agency ISNA, based on its own investigations, confirmed that all claims regarding the president's resignation are baseless. It added that republishing these allegations, especially under the current circumstances, only serves to undermine public trust and damage public opinion.
She noted that those promoting these claims, whether intentionally or unintentionally, are moving in a direction that is inconsistent with calls to strengthen national unity and avoid fueling disputes, principles emphasized by the leader of the Islamic Revolution.
