PSIM Yogyakarta has released senior full-back Reva Adi Utama to fellow BRI Super League club Borneo FC on loan for the entire 2026/2027 season.
PSIM Yogyakarta Manager Iksan Mahar explained that the loan decision was agreed upon after management had in-depth discussions with the coaching team regarding the team's game strategy and tactics.
"We're loaning Reva Adi Utama to Borneo FC Samarinda for the 2026/27 season. Not being included in the head coach's plans is the reason for this decision," explained Iksan.
Iksan continued, explaining that PSIM Yogyakarta's management took the transfer step to maintain squad depth and balance ahead of the new season. The decision was made through regular coordination with the coaching staff.
The loan move provides the player with the opportunity to gain regular playing time at his new club, ensuring that the move to the East Kalimantan club maintains his optimal performance at the highest level.
