Russian President Vladimir Putin returned two football passes as he walked onto the stage at the closing ceremony of the Russian national competition "The Big Change" in the city of Krasnoyarsk.
The participants in the competition finals, gathered in the hall, greeted the president with warm applause and loud cheers.
As Putin went up on stage, one of the young presenters, named Denis, passed a soccer ball towards the president, who then skillfully returned both passes.
After this spontaneous moment, Putin greeted everyone present.
The "Big Change" competition is the largest project aimed at talented children and teenagers in Russia.
The competition includes 12 tracks that organizers describe as "challenges," ranging from science and technology to arts and creativity.
Participants must submit their innovative projects, and 300 winners will be selected from among school students, who will embark on an expedition across Russia on a specially equipped train.
