Redmi Note 17 Pro debuts with 8,340mAh battery and 50MP camera

 

  Xiaomi officially launched the Redmi Note 17 Pro in the global market as the successor to the Redmi Note 15 Pro, bringing a number of improvements such as battery capacity, water and dust protection, and the use of a new chipset .

As reported by Gizmochina on Thursday (27/8) local time, one of the main improvements of the Redmi Note 17 Pro is the 8,340 mAh silicon-carbon battery, much larger than the Redmi Note 15 Pro which has a 6580 mAh battery.

Xiaomi claims the battery can be used to watch videos for up to 28 hours on a single charge.

The battery supports 67W fast charging as well as reverse charging with up to 22.5W of power which can be used to charge other devices.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro features a 6.83-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1,280 x 2,772 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate . The display supports 12-bit color depth and a brightness level of up to 3,500 nits.
