Barcelona have announced their third summer signing after bringing in Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United and Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund.
Barcelona stated in a statement on its official website: "Barcelona and Club Brugge have reached an agreement for the signing of Jesé Besio, who will join the Blaugrana on a contract until June 30, 2031, and will be presented at the club's offices soon."
The young Belgian has a promising future as he possesses great attributes such as speed, strength and dribbling, and he has represented all of Belgium's youth national teams.
Jesse Bescio first came to prominence during the 2025 European Under-17 Championship and was selected in the ideal lineup after his contribution to Belgium's qualification for the semi-finals.
Besio started his career with Leuven before moving to Club Brugge in 2020. He scored 3 goals in the European Youth League in the last two seasons and played 14 matches.
Bescio joined Barcelona at the age of eighteen, becoming the third Belgian player to move to the first team after Thomas Vermaelen and Fernand Guaiverts.
