Trackhouse MotoGP owner Justin Marks confirmed his team is not yet thinking about the 2026 MotoGP world championship title race, despite Ai Ogura's second-place finish in the riders' standings ahead of the British Grand Prix at the Silverstone Circuit.
"We haven't really thought about the championship yet because there are so many races left. It's about execution, about coming to the track well-prepared and executing everything well on the track," Marks.
Trackhouse was one of the surprises of the 2026 season, with Ogura competing at the top of the standings. His teammate, Raul Fernandez, finished sixth. The Aprilia satellite team also finished second in the team standings.
Marks said Trackhouse prefers to go through each race weekend without thinking too much about the title race that will end at the Valencia round.
According to him, the opportunity to become the new champion will really be a concern if Trackhouse is still in competition when entering the final series of the season.
