Spanish coach Julen Lopetegui, who manages the Qatar national team, announced a list of 26 players in preparation for participating in the Gulf Cup tournament "Gulf 27" which will be held from September 23 to October 6 in Jeddah.
The list includes Salah Zakaria, Mahmoud Abu Nada, Meshaal Barsham, Ahmed Al-Janahi, Ahmed Alaa, Ahmed Fathi, Edmilson Junior, Akram Afif, Almoez Ali, Ayoub Alaoui, Boualem Khoukhi, Pedro Miguel, Tahseen Mohammed, Jassim Jaber, Hassan Al-Haydos, Sultan Al-Buraik, Tarek Salman, Assim Madibo, Abdulaziz Hatem, Issa Laye, Karim Boudiaf, Mohammed Al-Mannai, Nayef Al-Hadrami, Hashem Ali, Hammam Al-Amin, and Yousef Abdul-Razzaq.
The draw placed Qatar at the top of Group B, along with the UAE, Bahrain and Yemen.
The Qatari national team will begin its matches in the Gulf Cup on the 24th of this month against Bahrain, then face Yemen on September 27th, and conclude its group stage matches against the UAE on the 30th of this month.
