The medical staff of Al-Ahly Club, led by Ahmed Gaballah, announced the details of the injury suffered by their Moroccan striker Ashraf Bencharki and his Egyptian left-back teammate Karim El-Debis.
Al Ahly Club published a statement via its "X" platform account, which read: "Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, head of the medical staff of the first football team, said that Ashraf Ben Sharqi, a player on the team, complained of pain resulting from inflammation in the Achilles tendon, and the technical staff preferred to give him rest from participating in group training, while carrying out treatment exercises, to prepare him before returning to group training later."
Jaballah added that Karim Al-Dabis, a player on the team, suffered a grade two strain in his right adductor muscle, and will undergo a physical therapy and rehabilitation program to prepare him for the upcoming period.
Al Ahly club is preparing to play a friendly match against Al Ittihad Misurata of Libya, tomorrow, Monday, September 28, at the Mokhtar El Tetsh Stadium in Gezira, as part of the team’s preparations for the next stage.
