Feyenoord continued their strong performances and achieved a big win over their guest Utrecht with a score of five goals to nil on Sunday in the seventh round of the Dutch Football League.
Feyenoord secured a 3-0 lead in the first half, before adding two more goals in the second half, achieving their second consecutive resounding victory after defeating Zwolle 7-0 in the previous round.
Algerian star Anis Hadj Moussa opened the scoring for Feyenoord in the sixth minute, after he dribbled the ball from his own half and advanced effortlessly before shooting from close range into the net of Vasilios Barkas.
Less than three minutes later, Nacho Ferre added the second goal.
Hadji Moussa returned to shake the net again in the 33rd minute with a carbon copy of his first goal, as he slipped in from the left side and penetrated into the penalty area, before firing a powerful shot into the near corner, scoring his second personal goal and the third for his team Feyenoord.
Luciano Valenti added Feyenoord's fourth goal in the 52nd minute from a penalty kick, and then Jossou Diarra completed the home side's five-goal haul in the 64th minute.
Feyenoord temporarily moved to the top of the Dutch league with 17 points, pending the matches of PSV Eindhoven and AZ Alkmaar, while Utrecht is in fifteenth place with five points.
