Apple has officially launched the iPhone Duo as their first foldable phone equipped with a 2 nm chip , namely the A20 Pro and compatible with the Apple Pencil.

The phone debuted with the currently popular compact foldable design. When opened, it boasts a large 7.6-inch display, and when closed, it offers a 5.4-inch display.
"iPhone Duo is the most transformative change to iPhone since the first generation iPhone," said Apple CEO John Ternus in a statement posted on Apple's.
The iPhone Duo comes with a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR display panel when unfolded that uses a special nano-texture glass to minimize glare and bend marks.
Meanwhile, on the outside, there is a 5.4-inch Super Retina XDR display that covers 90 percent of the iPhone 18 Pro's screen area.
This display supports ProMotion, a 120Hz refresh rate , and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. With its large screen size, the iPhone Duo is also the first iPhone to support the Apple Pencil.
To support durability, Apple has equipped the iPhone Duo with a Grade 5 Titanium material coating and a Ceramic Shield 2 coating on the front which is three times more scratch resistant, as well as Ceramic Shield for the rear body.
Its durability is supported by precision hinges consisting of more than 100 components, internal support architecture, and IP68 water and dust resistance certification.
Entering the kitchen runway aspect, the foldable phone is powered by the A20 Pro chip with 2 nanometer architecture combining a 6-core CPU, 7-core GPU, and a 16-core Dual Neural Engine for AI processing on the device.
Its sustained performance is increased by up to 35 percent thanks to a thermal management system that connects the chip directly to a dedicated vapor chamber .
For the photography sector, the foldable phone is strengthened with a 48 MP Fusion main camera that is capable of offering 2x optical zoom telephoto options and 4K120 fps Dolby Vision video recording as well as a 48 MP Fusion ultra-wide camera for macro photography.
The foldable design enables a variety of new features, such as AI-based Smart Take for automatic shooting, Duo Preview for previewing on the outer screen, Kid Cue showing animated Peanuts characters to attract children's attention when taking photos, as well as selfie support using the main camera.
The newly designed FaceTime camera is embedded under the display panel, providing a seamless and clean look.
Supporting all the performance on the foldable phone, Apple has equipped it with a redesigned iOS 27 operating system.
The iPhone Duo includes side navigation adjustments, vertical Dynamic Island integration , and Split View capabilities for running two apps side by side.
The Standby feature can now be active on both the inside and outside screens without having to be in charging mode.
The iPhone Duo only supports eSIM and this applies globally, there is also an N1 wireless chip (Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6) and a C2 modem to strengthen the connectivity range.
The iPhone Duo is available in Star White and Night Sky color options with storage capacity options of 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB, and up to 2 TB.
