Italian Simone Inzaghi, coach of Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal, tops the list of the highest-paid coaches in the world, surpassing Diego Simeone of Atletico Madrid.
Simone Inzaghi came in first place with an annual salary of 26 million euros that he receives from Al-Hilal, according to the "salaryleaks" website, which specializes in news about the salaries of players and coaches.
In second place behind Inzaghi is Argentine Diego Simeone, who has coached Atletico since 2011, with a salary of 23.5 million euros.
Diego Simeone remained the highest-paid manager in the world for years before Al-Hilal signed Inzaghi in the summer of 2025.
Third place went to Spaniard Mikel Arteta, coach of Arsenal, the reigning English Premier League champions, with a salary of 17.45 million euros. He was followed in second place with a salary of 12 million euros by Portuguese Jose Mourinho with Real Madrid and Spaniard Luis Enrique, coach of Paris Saint-Germain, the European champions.
Australian Ange Postecoglou, the coach of Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr, came in sixth place with a salary of 11.7 million euros, followed by Austrian Olivier Glasner, the coach of England’s Nottingham Forest, with a salary of 13.38 million euros.
With the same salary came Spaniard Xabi Alonso, the manager of Chelsea, followed by Italian Luciano Spalletti, the coach of Juventus, with 11.2 million euros.
And ranked tenth on that list with a salary of 11.63 million euros is Italian Enzo Maresca, the manager of Manchester City.
