The Prisoners revealed that the repression units in the “Rakefit” section of Ramla prison transferred prisoners from the Gaza Strip to rooms where there are no cameras, and assaulted them with severe beatings, deliberately targeting their genitals.
The office explained that the prison guards beat the prisoners on their testicles using a hard object while they were handcuffed, foot-bound and blindfolded, causing them severe pain, in a serious violation that represents a form of physical and sexual torture.
He pointed out that the prisoner (A. K.) was beaten with sticks all over his body until he became unable to stand or move his body and kept shouting, asking for pain relief or treatment, but the jailers left him to suffer without providing medical care.
The office confirmed that attacks on Gaza prisoners have become almost daily, amid harsh conditions that include taking them out to the yard while handcuffed, preventing them from praying, and monitoring them when they perform their prayers in secret, in addition to the continued poor quality of food and lack of clothing.
The Prisoners' called on human rights and international organizations to take urgent action to stop torture and sexual abuse against Gaza prisoners, to provide them with protection, and to hold the occupation leaders and prison guards responsible for these crimes accountable.
The Prisoners Club announced that 92 martyrs have died among the prisoners and detainees inside the occupation prisons since the start of the genocide crime on October 7, 2023, including 53 from the Gaza Strip, following the announcement of the martyrdom of prisoner Mu’taz Al-Atrash from Hebron, two days ago.
Thus, the number of martyrs of the prisoner movement, whose identities have been known since 1967, rises to 329 martyrs, while the number of martyred prisoners whose bodies are being held and whose identities are known has reached 100 martyrs, including 89 martyrs who have died since the beginning of the genocide.
The data indicates that the martyred prisoners died as a result of a system of crimes and violations, including torture, starvation, medical crimes, sexual assaults, abuse, humiliation and deprivation of the most basic human rights.
The fate of a number of Gaza detainees remains unknown due to enforced disappearance, while testimonies and accumulating data indicate that dozens of detainees have been subjected to field executions.
