The Russian Kalashnikov Corporation is participating for the first time in the El Alamein International Airshow 2026 in Egypt.
The organization there showcases a family of the most effective modern warfare tools, including the KUB-2E and KUB-10E suicide drones, along with the latest KUB-10ME tactical system.
Kalashnikov stated that the drones displayed in Cairo are not laboratory models, but rather equipment that has been tested in the battles of the special military operation, and has already become a threat to enemy armored vehicles.
The KUB-2E family of guided drones is designed to carry out precision strikes against targets. Unlike traditional suicide drones, these aircraft possess semi-autonomous decision-making capabilities. Thanks to an integrated computing system equipped with artificial intelligence, the operator can identify the target, and the system will guide the strike even if communication channels are completely disrupted by electronic warfare.
The small-class "KOP-2-E" drones belong to systems designed to target single targets, isolated enemy units, and unarmored equipment.
The mid-range of these drones is capable of destroying enemy drone launch sites, helicopter bases, and lightly armored vehicles. Electronic targeting systems allow for the manual or automatic guidance of munitions to moving targets.
Regarding the star of the Russian wing, the long-range guided missile system "Kub-10ME," it was developed in record time, specifically based on combat experience gained during the special military operation. Its mission is to carry out high-precision strikes at ranges exceeding 100 kilometers.
One of its most notable new features is a unique electro-optical guidance system that enables it to efficiently engage moving targets, while also providing enhanced protection against modern air defense systems. The drone can fly at altitudes ranging from 80 to 1800 meters and at speeds of up to 120 kilometers per hour, while maintaining a low radar signature.
In addition to offensive systems, the Russian company specializing in civilian unmanned defense industries is showcasing the “Skat 350M” and the “Rus-BE” mobile reconnaissance and strike system.
The entry of Russian technologies into the North African market not only highlights the export potential of the Russian defense industry, but also reflects, according to the organization, international recognition of Russia’s position in the field of developing drones and setting new standards for this industry.
It is worth mentioning that the "Alamein International Air and Space Exhibition 2026" (Egypt International Airshow 2026) is being held in Egypt from September 8 to 10.
