Puan said that the haze caused by forest and land fires could threaten public health and safety, so it must be handled in an integrated manner.
"The smoke from forest and land fires can disrupt health, economic activity, education, and transportation, and even has the potential to cause cross-regional impacts," he said.
According to him, handling forest and land fires must combine efforts to extinguish fires, protect public health, provide education, and support for affected families.
Therefore, Puan requested strengthened coordination between the central government, regional governments, officials, communities, and area managers so that every impact of forest and land fires can be handled in a targeted and integrated manner.
