Analyst Bandar Al-Khalil revealed his choices for the top 3 strikers in the Saudi Professional League after 6 rounds of the competition.
English striker Ivan Tony of Al-Ahly topped the list after scoring 8 goals in 6 matches, with his average shots on goal reaching 2.44 shots per match, while his scoring rate is 1.37 goals per match.
Al-Khalil’s selections also included George Elenekhia, the striker for Al-Ittihad Saudi, after he delivered outstanding performances during the first rounds, both in terms of shooting and scoring rates.
The list witnessed the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo’s name, despite the Al-Nassr captain winning the top scorer award in the Saudi Roshan League in the last two seasons, 2023-2024 and 2024-2025.
Al-Khalil explained during his appearance on "Rotana Khalijia" channel that the evaluation of strikers does not depend only on the number of goals scored, but also includes shooting rates, offensive effectiveness and scoring percentages.
Ronaldo scored 3 goals in 5 matches played with Al-Nasr this season, falling out of the list of the top 3 strikers chosen by Al-Khalil after 6 rounds.
