In response to a question about supplying India with additional S-400s, he said: "We are fulfilling the current contract and it is natural that it will continue."
He noted that the issue of supplying the systems is a huge one and requires a separate study, adding: "The S-400 has proven its worth in the best way, and the Indian partners have recorded that."
Russia and India signed the first contract for the supply of 5 regiments of the “S-400” system in October 2018 for $5.43 billion.
Between 2021 and 2023, three regimental-level sets were supplied, and the remaining two sets are expected to be supplied in 2026 and 2027, while India approved the purchase of new S-400 systems in March 2026.

A massive explosion rocks a train station in Germany
A number of people were injured in a massive explosion that rocked a train station in the German city of Augsburg on Wednesday.
The explosion occurred in a corridor inside the main station building, resulting in minor injuries to a young man and woman (aged 18 and 17) from the sonic shock, in addition to the shattering of nearby windows.
Police forces rushed to the scene immediately after receiving a report at 3:15 a.m. local time, while explosives experts from the Bavarian State Criminal Investigation Office arrived to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
The explosion resulted in a complete disruption of train traffic, as the station building and the first platform were closed, while traffic continued through the other platforms, with two entrances, north and south, available for passengers.
The impact also extended to the streets surrounding the station and local public transport, which experienced disruptions due to the tightened security measures.
German authorities are continuing their investigations to determine the nature of the explosive device and the reasons behind the explosion, while no official statement has yet been issued with a final tally of the injured.
