Russian TV channel SHOT reported that iOS 27 updates are deleting Russian apps from iPhones and causing the smart assistant "Siri" to lose its support for the Russian language.
It is noted that problems begin for some iPhone owners even before installation, as the phone shows that it will update to the old version "26.7" instead of "iOS 27", then displays an error message and refuses to complete the update.
Users complain that after these attempts the device turns into something resembling a "brick," meaning it completely malfunctions.
Things aren't going well even for those who managed to install the update; some Russian apps have disappeared and can no longer be downloaded, while others open but have lost some of their functionality. The Siri smart assistant also says it doesn't understand commands in Russian.
In addition, iPhone warns some users that the remaining battery charge level is less than 20%, even though the indicator shows a higher percentage.
