Russian figure skater Trusova wins silver at the Kinoshita Championships in Tokyo; Frolova finishes third

Russian skier Alexandra Ignatova (Trusova) won the silver medal at the "Kinoshita Cup" tournament held in Tokyo as part of the "Challenger" series.

The Russian star's crowning came after she scored 146.14 points in the free program, raising her total score to 221.06 points, making up for her fourth-place finish in the short program.

Japan’s Mao Shimada came in first and won the gold medal with 231.32 points, while Russia’s Anna Frolova won the bronze medal with 207.86 points.

The other Russian skier, Kamila Nelyubova, who scored 76.08 points in the short program, scored 125.26 points in the free program, bringing her total to 201.34 points and placing her in fifth position.

Meanwhile, Japan’s Ami Nakai, who was leading the rankings after the short program (80.27 points), finished in fourth place with a total of 207.72 points.
