The Civil Defense in Gaza announced on Saturday that it had recovered 55 bodies that had been missing under the rubble of a building in the Zeitoun area.

The Civil Defense said in a press statement reported by the Palestinian Center today that the building was inhabited by more than 60 people who had fled there for fear of Israeli bombing about two years ago.
He added that rescue teams have been searching for more than 60 bodies for the third day in a row and have managed to recover most of them so that they can be buried together in a unified funeral procession early next week.
