The Indonesian national esports team's eFootball coach, Adyatma Priady, admitted that his team's results in the eFootball competition at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games were beyond expectations after failing to advance to the semifinals at the Aichi Sky Exo.
"On the first day, we managed to sweep the field to become group champions. Then, on the second day, we were actually very confident with our performance on the first day," said Adyatma.
However, the results of the match the following day were not in favor of Indonesia so that Rizky Faidan and Radinka Wiratama's progress was stopped before the semifinals.
Adyatma assessed that there were several factors that influenced the match, one of which was the network conditions, which according to players experienced a slight delay compared to the first day.
The coach also revealed that he was not allowed to accompany the players during the match. He could only accompany them until the device testing process was complete.
