The government is uniting its public relations network to accelerate policy communication

The government is integrating the public relations networks of ministries, institutions, and regional governments to build faster, more coordinated policy communications that reach communities at all levels.

Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid stated that coordination between public relations departments is a crucial need amidst the rapid flow of digital information, including the rise in disinformation and hoaxes.

"In the framework of our government communications duties, we must first have a narrative, and secondly, we must also deliver it to remote areas for dissemination," said Meutya at the Government Public Relations Coordination Agency.

According to him, the government needs strong coordination between the public relations departments of ministries and agencies and those of regional governments. This coordination also provides a platform for evaluating government communications.
