Chairman of the Legislative Body of the Indonesian House of Representatives Bob Hasan, is targeting the Draft Law on One Data Indonesia to be passed at the DPR RI Plenary Session.
According to him, the government has also submitted a problem inventory list to the Indonesian House of Representatives. Therefore, the DPR and the government will discuss the DIM in the coming days before it is ratified.
"The bill on One Data Indonesia is scheduled to be approved as law at the next plenary session, likely," Bob said at the parliamentary complex in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Minister of National Development Planning Head of Bappenas Rachmat Pambudy stated that the government is ready to discuss the bill so that it can be immediately passed into law.
"Once again, we sincerely apologize if there are any shortcomings, but the bottom line is that we are ready to proceed so that this bill is ready to become law soon," Rachmat said.
Previously, Rachmat explained the purpose of creating the One Data Indonesia Law (UU SDI) to produce national basic data.
According to him, the drafting of the SDI Bill was a collaborative effort across ministries and institutions.
