Zinedine Zidane began his mission with the French national team by making a series of changes, the most prominent of which was putting an end to one of the scenes that had been associated with the arrival of "Les Bleus" players at the national team camp in recent years.
This comes ahead of Zidane's first gathering with the French national team, where he decided to prevent journalists from attending the players' arrival at the team's headquarters in Clairefontaine.
The arrival of the French players at Clairefontaine has turned into a prominent media spectacle in recent years, as photographers' lenses follow the players and highlight their clothes and various looks, to the point that it has become known as a "fashion show" because of the striking clothes that some of the stars have been wearing.
According to the new arrangements, the French Football Federation's cameras will film the players' arrival, and the images and footage will be provided to the media later, instead of allowing journalists and photographers to be present at the location during the arrival of the national team members.
The change is not limited to the arrival of the players, as the new coaching staff seeks to have greater control over media appearances during the first days of the camp, so that no individual interviews are conducted with the players, while the usual daily press conferences will continue.
It is also expected that mixed zones will be introduced after training sessions, allowing journalists to approach and speak with the players, but within a more organized framework than before.
Zidane will begin his official duties with the French national team by facing Turkey on September 25 in the UEFA Nations League, before facing Belgium on September 28, then Italy on October 2, and Belgium again on October 5.
