According to the newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth", the idea is based on choosing areas located outside the yellow line and where the Israeli army is not currently deployed, with international forces entering to work on dismantling the armed infrastructure and establishing an alternative management system.
In return, Israel will retain its ability to monitor and control these areas from a security standpoint through intelligence, aerial surveillance, and the ability to carry out strikes when needed, without a permanent Israeli ground deployment within them.
According to Yediot Aharonot, the plan is part of an effort to find a model for managing areas of Gaza outside of Hamas control, drawing on the experience of southern Lebanon. However, implementing this model in Gaza faces significant challenges, particularly given the lack of a unified Palestinian authority to assume civil and security administration.

The Somaliland presidency announced that its president, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi, left on Thursday for the United States on his first official working visit since taking office.
President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi Irow will travel to the United States via the United Arab Emirates, according to a statement issued by the Somaliland presidency.
Details of the duration of the visit or which officials he might meet were not disclosed.
The regional presidency described the visit as "historic," and said it "aims to strengthen diplomatic relations and expand cooperation in the areas of security and economic development."
The statement added: "The visit will focus on attracting foreign investment and supporting Somaliland's efforts to gain broader international recognition."
During the visit, Abdullah is expected to meet with US officials and other influential figures to "present Somaliland's interests, priorities and long-term aspirations."
The presidency affirmed that "the visit demonstrates Somaliland's readiness to engage internationally with confidence and to seek strategic partnerships based on common interests."
