During his appearance on the stage yesterday, Friday, Tyson expressed his happiness at standing alongside Trump, saying: "I am very happy to be here with my president, President Trump! I wouldn't be here if it weren't for a president like Donald Trump."

Trump responded sarcastically, saying, "I don't want to fight him!"—a reference to the power Tyson was known for during his illustrious boxing career—before praising him as one of the greatest fighters in the history of the sport.

Tyson's appearance was not limited to the amusing scene on the stage, as it coincided with reports that he had delivered a letter to Trump from rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs, who had asked him to deliver it to the US president in an attempt to obtain a presidential pardon.
