She says: "The protein found in animal products has better bioavailability. The human body needs this element constantly."

The expert points out that protein is the building block of the body. It forms muscles, skin, hair, enzymes, blood vessels, joints, the immune system, and much more.

Based on this, the expert warns that a vegetarian diet is completely unsuitable for children. This is because growing bodies constantly need increasing amounts of protein. Without it, children may become ill more frequently and their bodies will not develop normally.

Furthermore, eliminating animal products is particularly dangerous for older adults, whose protein needs increase with age. Protein deficiency increases the risk of fractures and muscle loss (sarcopenia).
